The Sky outscored the Sun 33-22 in the final frame, tying the game with 4:54 remaining before cruising to the finish from there. Final: 94-88, Chicago improves to 8-18, while Connecticut falls to 7-22.

Kamilla Cardoso was dominant, going 8-of-12 from the field for 26 points at 77.2 percent true shooting, drawing seven fouls and going 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Sydney Taylor added 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting with six assists, and Natasha Cloud contributed 11 points and five assists. Chicago's bench outscored Connecticut's reserves 34-15, and the Sky's 25 points off Connecticut's 16 turnovers were the numbers that fueled their fourth-quarter surge.

Connecticut had control for three quarters and let it slip away. Aneesah Morrow was excellent, going 8-of-12 from the field for 21 points at 71.7 percent true shooting. Minnesota controlled this game from the opening tip and never let Toronto within striking distance, building a lead as large as 36 points on the way to their ninth straight win. Final: 104-72, Minnesota improves to 25-6 and remains the best team in the league by a wide margin. Toronto, playing shorthanded, falls to 10-19.

Napheesa Collier made her third start of the season, going 7-of-12 from the field (2-of-2 from three) for 16 points with five rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. Courtney Williams added 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting with five assists, and Kayla McBride hit three of seven three-point attempts for 13 points. Dorka Juhasz was efficient off the bench, going 4-of-8 (4-of-7 from three) for 12 points. Minnesota's 26 assists on 40 made field goals and their 14 steals reflected a complete team performance from start to finish against a Toronto roster missing three rotation players.

Toronto competed without three key rotation pieces and never found a way to compete with a full-strength Minnesota team. Laura Juskaite led the Tempo with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting, and Marina Mabrey added 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting. But Toronto's 24 turnovers, converted into 10 Minnesota points, and their 122.8 defensive rating reflected a shorthanded roster that had no answer for Minnesota's depth and continuity.

Las Vegas led for most of the night, but New York refused to go away, cutting the deficit to two points with 1:10 remaining before the Aces closed it out at the free throw line. Final: 104-99, Las Vegas improves to 20-8, while New York falls to 16-13, both rosters playing shorthanded throughout.

A'ja Wilson posted a double-double with 33 points and 10 rebounds on 11-of-22 shooting, adding six assists and going a stellar 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Jackie Young was nearly perfect, going 7-of-11 from the field (3-of-5 from three) for 29 points at 89.1 percent true shooting with nine assists and a perfect 12-of-12 from the line. Chelsea Gray added 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting (4-of-6 from three). Las Vegas's 92.6 percent free throw shooting as a team, 25-of-27 on the night, was the difference in the closing minutes when New York was mounting its comeback.

New York fought until the final horn despite missing three rotation pieces. Breanna Stewart posted a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds on 10-of-20 shooting, adding three steals. Pauline Astier came off the bench to shoot 8-of-12 for 19 points, and Rebecca Allen hit three of four three-point attempts for 13 points. Sabrina Ionescu added 15 points and five assists. New York's 71.4 percent second-chance conversion and their furious final push made this a genuine fight down to the final possessions, but Las Vegas's poise at the free throw line closed the door.
