Napheesa Collier added 20 points on 63.6 percent shooting with nine rebounds, and Natasha Howard posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Minnesota's 22 assists on 30 made field goals and their commanding first-half shooting, 30 points in the second quarter alone, built the cushion that ultimately survived Portland's furious response.
Portland's fourth-quarter rally was one of the best stretches of basketball the Fire have played all season, even in a losing effort.
