A two-game Monday closes the week, with Toronto facing a massive spread in Atlanta and Chicago in the tightest market on the board against a Seattle team still searching for its first win in ten games. Tempo at Dream tips at 8:00, followed by Sky at Storm at 10:00.

Toronto fell to 10-21 after a 97-83 road loss to Portland on Thursday, shooting just 42.1 percent overall and 33.3 percent from three. The Tempo's defense has been the bigger issue lately, allowing 49 percent shooting and 98 points per game over their last five. Atlanta, sixth at 19-12, has been steadier, though their own defense has also loosened somewhat, allowing 49 percent shooting and 88 points per game in that same stretch.

Both teams are without key rotation pieces: Toronto is missing Olayinka Bankole and Brittney Sykes, while Atlanta is down Indya Nivar and Te-Hina Paopao. Neither absence changes the shape of this game much, given the gap between the two rosters.

DraftKings has Atlanta -11.5, with the total at 185.5. Both defenses have been leaky enough recently to support the total regardless of which side you take. Lean Atlanta -11.5, and lean the over.

Toronto wins if the Tempo's offense, which has stayed productive even during the losing streak, finally gets enough stops to make this competitive.

Atlanta wins if the Dream's recent form and the talent gap simply prove too much for a shorthanded Toronto team on the road.

Chicago Sky @ Seattle Storm | 10:00 PM ET | USA Network

Chicago fell to 12-20 after a 90-86 home loss to Indiana on Saturday, but the Sky have still been competitive lately, and this is genuinely the tightest line on Monday's board. Seattle, dead last at 6-28, is missing Taina Mair and Katie Lou Samuelson, while Chicago is dealing with a thinner rotation of its own, with Skylar Diggins, Sydney Taylor, and Maddy Westbeld all out. But…a trip to Seattle to face the reeling Storm is a welcome game on their schedule as they are barely hanging onto hope for a playoff berth.

DraftKings has this close to a pick'em, Seattle -1.5, with the total at 179.5 to 183.5 depending on the book. Both rosters are shorthanded, and Seattle's ten-game skid makes the home team hard to trust even at home. Lean Chicago +1.5.

Seattle wins if the Storm finally snap a ten-game losing streak that has been the worst active stretch in the league.

Chicago wins if the Sky's recent competitiveness, even in a loss to Indiana, carries into a genuine coin-flip road game.

Atlanta's spread against Toronto is one of the largest of the week, and both teams' recent defensive struggles make the over the more confident half of that pick. Seattle's continued search for a win, now at 0-10 over its last ten, hangs over the Sky-Storm game even with the home team as a slight favorite. With the regular season winding down, both games carry real weight for teams still jockeying for position in a crowded middle and bottom of the standings.
