The Week in Brief
Welcome to edition zero of the Lorcana Spike Report. We built the same thing for Pokémon back in June, and enough of you asked "where's the Lorcana one?" that here we are. Same rules, same rigor, different cardboard.
Two things stood out this week. First: Wilds Unknown is having a rough second week in a row. Five of its twenty chase cards land in today's top ten, and across the whole set, eighteen of twenty are down. We don't have a smoking gun for why — no reprint news, no rules change, nothing from Ravensburger that points at this set specifically. It's just quietly losing ground, week after week, and at some point that stops being noise.
Second, and more fun: Rapunzel – High Climber is up 27.5% this week, the biggest move on the board, and yes, we know how that sounds. No catalyst we can point to — just a card that spent two years sitting around $228 and decided this was the week to do something about it.

Why It Moved
The story behind each of the ten — or, where there isn't one, an honest admission of that.
1. Rapunzel - High Climber
Catalyst: none identified — but the name is doing some heavy lifting today
Flat at $228 for the first two days, a small step to $233.87, flat again, then the real move: $246.63, then a jump to $290.91 by Tuesday, settling at $285.77 after Wednesday's check. Up 27.5% on the week — the single biggest move anywhere in this edition, on a card that's been sitting quietly in Reign of Jafar since May 2025.
2. Mrs. Incredible - Determined Rescuer
Catalyst: none identified — part of Wilds Unknown's ongoing slide
A clean staircase down: $103.82 held for three days, then $98.96, $97.12, $94.28, $91.64, $87.17. No single day did the damage — this one just bled steadily all week.
3. What Else Can I Do?

$79.84 down to $78.44 down to $77.70, a flat stretch at $73.66, then one more step to $71.18. Third Wilds Unknown card in the top three.
4. The Horned King - Wicked Ruler

A patient grind: $97.69, $96.69, holding, $94.14, holding, $91.39, $89.12, holding through Wednesday. Whispers in the Well's worst performer this week.
5. Malicious, Mean, and Scary

The mirror image of the Horned King two spots up — same set, opposite direction: $119.69 flat, up to $121.94, flat, up to $127.55, up to $128.94, holding.
6. Minnie Mouse - Sweetheart Princess
Catalyst: the CCS $10,000 Lorcana Weekend CCQ (Sept 26–27, Raleigh) lists this exact card — Iconic — as part of the grand prize
Flat at $2,644.47 for six straight days, then a step to $2,693.75, then $2,838.89 heading into a marquee competitive weekend where this card is literally part of what the winner takes home. This is the rare case where we can actually point at something.
7. Scar - Vengeful Lion

Flat at $120.12 for four days, a drop to $115.18, settling at $111.72 and holding there through the confirming check.
8. Touch the Sky
Catalyst: none identified — Wilds Unknown's fourth appearance in this list
$96.54 held, then a series of small steps down — $92.90, $91.60, $90.26. Nothing dramatic, just a set that keeps losing ground one card at a time.
9. Frozone - Super Cool
Catalyst: none identified — Wilds Unknown again
A slow, steady bleed from $77.01 down to $72.29 across the week, repricing almost every day. The fifth and final Wilds Unknown card on this week's board.
10. Olaf - Happy Passenger
Catalyst: none identified
$109.87 held for four days, down to $106, down to $103.91, holding through Wednesday.
What we held out
Nothing failed to refresh this week, so no stale-price exclusions. But 41 cards got stopped by the artifact guard — one day carried at least 75% of the week's move, which happens a lot in a game this thin on trading volume; plenty of chase-tier cards only get a real price update once or twice a week, so a single update can look like the whole story even when it isn't. Two are worth naming: Stitch – Experiment 626 (+11.6%, entirely from one Tuesday jump) and Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse – Adventuring Duo (still gated out by the 90-day rule anyway). Both show up in Early Signal below instead — that's exactly the shape that section exists for.
