NFL Recap | November 5, 2026
Week 9 opened the way the injury report said it might. Trevor Lawrence completed two throws of 50 yards or more, Cam Little kicked four field goals, and Jacksonville picked off Joe Fagnano twice and recovered a fumbled kickoff in a 33-10 win at Baltimore that leaves the Jaguars 6-2 and the Ravens 4-5 with four straight losses. Here's how it went down, the card graded, and where the record stands.
Lawrence Throws for 242, the Defense Takes the Ball Away Three Times, and Jacksonville Rolls in Baltimore
Jacksonville Jaguars 33, Baltimore Ravens 10
Jacksonville needed one throw to set the tone. Josh Cameron brought the opening kickoff out to the 23, and on the second snap of the drive Lawrence went deep right to tight end Nate Boerkircher for 52 yards to the Baltimore 21. Bhayshul Tuten scored from the 1 at 11:20 of the first, and it was 7-0. Jake Moody answered with a 53-yard field goal at 6:31, Little kicked a 36-yarder at 2:00 for 10-3, and the game sat there until the last minute of the half, when Lawrence and Parker Washington turned a four-play, 80-yard drive into a 50-yard touchdown at 0:58. Jacksonville led 17-3 at the break, and Baltimore had 30 yards passing.
The second half was the turnover half. Baltimore's first drive of the third quarter ended at 13:49, when Fagnano's short throw for Zay Flowers went to Montaric Brown instead, and Little kicked a 45-yarder at 12:48 for 20-3. Baltimore got the ball back at midfield when Malaki Starks stripped Travis Hunter at 5:15, then went four plays and nine yards with two aborted snaps and turned it over on downs. Little added a 47-yarder at 13:35 of the fourth, Jourdan Lewis intercepted Fagnano seven seconds of game clock later on another throw meant for Flowers, and Little's 33-yarder at 11:52 made it 26-3. The ensuing kickoff got worse for Baltimore: LaJohntay Wester fumbled the return, Jacksonville challenged the down-by-contact ruling and won it, Jalen McLeod recovered at the Ravens' 32, and Chris Rodriguez Jr. scored from the 2 at 7:26 for 33-3. Justice Hill's 65-yard touchdown run on the next snap, at 7:15, was the final score.
Lawrence was 16-of-26 for 242 yards and a touchdown without an interception or a sack, 9.3 yards an attempt, and three different receivers had a catch of 50 or more: Boerkircher for 52, Washington for 50, Jakobi Meyers 18 on a four-catch, 65-yard night. The run game was a grind, 77 yards on 30 carries, but Tuten and Rodriguez each scored. Foyesade Oluokun had seven tackles and the sack. Fagnano, the undrafted rookie starting for Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, was 10-of-18 for 60 yards with two interceptions and a 22.7 rating; Flowers caught three of six targets for six yards. Derrick Henry ran 17 times for 57, Hill nine for 85 with the long one, and Baltimore finished with 227 yards, 10 first downs, 4-of-14 on third down, and three giveaways. Jacksonville is 6-2; Baltimore is 4-5.
THE CARD, GRADED · JAX @ BAL
Side JAX -10 (Toss-up) · closing number JAX -9.5 (the preview printed -10) · Jacksonville won by 23, 13.5 points past the close · cleared
Total Under 39.5 (Lean) · closing number 40.5 (the preview printed 39.5) · the teams combined for 43, 2.5 over the close · missed
The side was driven by the injury report, and we called it a toss-up because a 10-point road number on a short week already priced in a third-string rookie. The market came off half a point by kickoff, and Jacksonville cleared it by almost two touchdowns anyway. The total had fallen nine points from the lookahead and the market pushed it back up to 40.5; it was 33-3 with 7:26 left, 36 points, and Hill's 65-yard run on the next snap put it over.
Jacksonville Handles the Short Week, and Baltimore Falls Under .500
The Jaguars never trailed, scored on their first drive and turned Baltimore's three second-half giveaways into 13 points, and they leave Week 9's opener at 6-2. The Ravens have lost four straight and are 4-5, with Jacoby Brissett expected to start at quarterback next week. Thursday's card finished 1-0 on the side and 0-1 on the total.
Star of the Night: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
16-of-26 | 242 YDS | 1 TD | 0 INT | 0 SACKS | 9.3 YDS/ATT | 105.0 RTG
Cam Little's four field goals and Foyesade Oluokun's seven tackles and a sack made cases of their own, and Montaric Brown and Jourdan Lewis each took one away. Lawrence completed 52- and 50-yard throws for the two scores that mattered, never put the ball in danger, and let the defense do the rest.
Dud of the Night: Joe Fagnano, QB, Baltimore Ravens
10-of-18 | 60 YDS | 0 TD | 2 INT | 1 SACK | 3.3 YDS/ATT | 22.7 RTG
Zay Flowers' three catches for six yards on six targets and LaJohntay Wester's fumbled kickoff return were in the conversation. Fagnano, playing on a bad ankle in his first start, threw two interceptions on back-to-back possessions meant for Flowers, and Baltimore's passing game finished with 55 net yards.
