Paris Gets Its First NFL Game, and Two Quarterbacks With the Same Touchdown Count
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints | 9:30 AM ET | NFL Network (Paris)
KEY STAT
12
Touchdown passes for both Aaron Rodgers and Tyler Shough, tied for fourth in the NFL. Each has five interceptions too.
The Steelers (4-2) and Saints (2-4) are the first teams to play a regular-season game in France, at Stade de France just north of Paris. New Orleans is the designated home team and has practiced in Paris all week, while Pittsburgh arrived Friday after street protests in the French capital turned violent earlier this month. The game is still on. Aaron Rodgers has 1,487 yards, 12 touchdowns and five interceptions, but he has been sacked 19 times, and the Steelers have won two straight, including a 26-19 win over Tampa Bay last week. Pittsburgh has covered three weeks in a row and the over has hit in four straight Steelers games. Receiver Ben Skowronek and cornerback Brandin Echols are out, and running back Rico Dowdle and safety DeShon Elliott (both knee) are questionable.
New Orleans beat the Giants 34-27 last week and heads into its bye after this one. Tyler Shough has 1,443 yards, 12 touchdowns and five interceptions, plus 104 rushing yards and two scores, and Chris Olave is second in the NFL with 580 receiving yards. The Saints score touchdowns on 84% of their red zone trips, second in the league behind San Francisco, but the defense allows 4.8 yards per carry and has struggled to pressure quarterbacks. Guard Cesar Ruiz (knee) and defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd (illness) are questionable. The Saints lead the all-time series 9-8, and the last meeting was a 20-10 Steelers win in November 2022.
Pittsburgh wins if the offensive line keeps Rodgers upright against a light pass rush and the run game takes advantage of a Saints defense that has given up yards on the ground.
New Orleans wins if Shough and Olave keep the red-zone efficiency going and the Saints stop giving the ball away.

The line PIT -3 (-112) · NO +3 (-108) · total 43.5 (O -110, U -110) · market opened PIT -2.5 and 42.5 · DraftKings

Rest & availability PIT 7 days, Skowronek and Echols out, Dowdle and Elliott questionable · NO 7 days, Ruiz and Shepherd questionable
Lean PIT -3 (Lean) · Over ↑ 43.5 (Lean)
Driven by the trend. Pittsburgh has covered three weeks in a row with its games going over four straight, and New Orleans allows 4.8 yards per carry and rarely pressures the quarterback. Neutral-site travel and a 9:30 AM start keep the side a lean, but both offenses have been scoring.
Josh Jacobs Returns to a Packers Offense Built on Jordan Love's Arm
Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions | 4:25 PM ET | FOX
KEY STAT
59.8
Rushing yards per game for the Packers without Josh Jacobs, the lowest in the NFL. He was activated Saturday and is expected to play.
Green Bay is 4-2 and has built its offense around Jordan Love, who has 1,684 yards and 11 touchdowns through six games, even though the team scores just 21.2 points per game. Jacobs missed the first six games on the commissioner's exempt list, and the league's investigation into his personal conduct remains open, so a suspension is still possible. For now he is cleared, and he may not start. The Packers also activated nose tackle Jordon Riley, though Riley is questionable with an Achilles issue, and linebacker Zaire Franklin is out. Aaron Banks and Benjamin St-Juste are questionable.
Detroit is 3-2 and Jared Goff is off to the best start of his career: 1,485 yards, 12 touchdowns and no interceptions through five games, a 111.3 rating. Jahmyr Gibbs has been putting up big numbers, the Lions lead the NFL in sacks, and the team has no injury designations. Safety Brian Branch and center Cade Mays are both back from injured reserve this week. The weakness is the secondary, which MLive's writers call the league's worst pass defense, against a Packers receiver group of Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. Detroit's games have all gone over (5-0), but the Lions are just 1-3-1 against the spread.
Green Bay wins if Love gets time against the league's top pass rush and Jacobs gives the offense a run game to lean on.
Detroit wins if Goff and Gibbs keep the offense humming and the pass rush gets to Love before he can attack the secondary.
Lean Green Bay +3.5 (Lean), and lean the over 54.5 (Toss-up).
THE CARD · GB @ DET
The line DET -3.5 (-105) · GB +3.5 (-115) · total 54.5 (O -112, U -108) · DraftKings
This season GB 3-3 ATS, 2-4 O/U · DET 1-3-1 ATS, 5-0 O/U
Rest & availability GB 7 days, Franklin out, Banks, Riley and St-Juste questionable, Jacobs active · DET 7 days, no designations, Branch and Mays back
Lean GB +3.5 (Lean) · Over ↑ 54.5 (Toss-up)
Driven by the trend and the matchup. Detroit is 1-3-1 against the spread and the road team has covered in six of the last seven meetings, while Green Bay adds Jacobs to a passing game that has been working. The total is the highest on the board and Detroit's games are 5-0 to the over, but Green Bay's games lean under, which keeps it a toss-up.
Kenneth Walker III Returns to Seattle With the League's Top Rushing Total
Kansas City Chiefs @ Seattle Seahawks | 8:20 PM ET | NBC (Peacock)
KEY STAT
133
Rushing yards per game for Kenneth Walker III, the NFL's leading rusher even after a bye. He has run for at least 117 yards in four of Kansas City's five games and now faces his former team.
Kansas City is 5-0 and the Super Bowl MVP from Seattle's championship run is the reason the Chiefs rank second in the league in rushing. Patrick Mahomes has been sacked only six times, and the Chiefs' defense allows 3.5 yards per carry, but the offensive line is thin: receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring, knee) and tackle Jaylon Moore (concussion) are out, left tackle Josh Simmons is on injured reserve, and cornerback L'Jarius Sneed is questionable. Travis Kelce (ankle) was limited in practice and is expected to play. Mahomes and Andy Reid are 10-1-1 against the spread as road underdogs since 2017, per NBC Sports.
Seattle is 3-3 and has lost three of its last four, most recently 17-14 in overtime at Denver last Thursday. Sam Darnold has thrown seven interceptions since returning from injury, all with the Seahawks tied or trailing, and he was sacked three times by the Chargers and five times each by the 49ers and Broncos. Zach Charbonnet (knee) is out, linebackers Chazz Surratt and Drake Thomas are out, and backup quarterback Drew Lock is questionable with an elbow issue. The defense is the strength: it held Denver to 3 yards per play. Seattle also has extra rest after playing Thursday, 10 days to Kansas City's 7.
Kansas City wins if Walker keeps running against a Seattle defense that held Denver to 3 yards per play, and the Chiefs' patchwork line gives Mahomes enough time to make the decisive plays.
Seattle wins if Darnold protects the ball and the defense turns a thin Chiefs line and a missing top receiver into a low-scoring game.
Lean Kansas City +3 (Lean), and lean the under 42.5 (Lean).
THE CARD · KC @ SEA
The line SEA -3 (-105) · KC +3 (-115) · total 42.5 (O -110, U -110) · DraftKings
This season KC 3-2 ATS, 2-3 O/U · SEA 1-3-2 ATS, 3-3 O/U
Rest & availability KC 7 days, Rice and Moore out, Simmons on IR, Sneed questionable · SEA 10 days, Charbonnet, Surratt and Thomas out, Lock questionable
Lean KC +3 (Lean) · Under ↓ 42.5 (Lean)
Driven by the trend and the matchup. Seattle is 1-3-2 against the spread and Darnold has been under constant pressure, while Kansas City has the league's top rusher and a long record as a road underdog, but the Chiefs' line and receiver injuries keep the side a lean. A 42.5 total, two defenses that have been strong and an offense on each side missing key pieces point toward the under.
