Points the spread has moved since the lookahead, from Baltimore -3 to Jacksonville -10, after Lamar Jackson went on injured reserve. The total fell from 48.5 to 39.5.
Baltimore's season has come apart in a week. Lamar Jackson jammed his right thumb on his first snap against Buffalo and is on injured reserve with surgery ahead, and backup Tyler Huntley suffered a season-ending turf toe injury in the same 36-10 loss. That leaves Joe Fagnano, an undrafted rookie from UConn, who is playing through an ankle injury and was a full participant in practice Tuesday. Trade acquisition Jacoby Brissett is expected to start in Week 10. Guard John Simpson and tackle Roger Rosengarten are questionable, so the protection is in question too, and Derrick Henry gives the Ravens their best path to keeping the game close. The Ravens are 2-6 against the spread and 0-3 at home.
Jacksonville is 5-2 and coming off a 42-7 win over Indianapolis in which Trevor Lawrence went 10-of-14 for 210 yards and three touchdowns. He has 17 touchdown passes and four interceptions with a 112.6 passer rating, and he averages just 28.3 attempts per game, so the Jaguars can win without a heavy passing workload. Edge rusher Travon Walker (rib) and running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle, foot) are questionable, with Tuten a game-time decision. Receiver Jakobi Meyers is cleared, and safety Antonio Johnson has no designation.
Jacksonville wins if its defense keeps a rookie quarterback uncomfortable and Lawrence stays efficient with the run game doing the rest.
Baltimore wins if Henry controls the clock, Fagnano avoids turnovers, and the Ravens keep the game close enough to stay in it.
Lean Jacksonville -10 (Toss-up), and lean the under 39.5 (Lean).

Driven by the injury report. Baltimore is 0-3 against the spread at home and is starting a third-string rookie behind a line with two questionable starters, but a 10-point road number on a short week already prices that in, so the side stays close to even. The total has fallen nine points and Baltimore's offense is likely to run through Henry and the clock, which supports the under.
What to Watch For Thursday Night.
Watch how Fagnano handles Jacksonville's pass rush on the ankle, whether Tuten and Walker play, and how much Henry runs when the game script allows it. We'll have the recap Friday, with every card graded and the season record updated.
