NBA Recap | November 4, 2026
Wednesday's 14 games put the East's two best records in the same building, and Philadelphia left Detroit 8-1: Jaylen Brown scored 30 and Joel Embiid had 26 points and 15 rebounds in a 112-106 win. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 42 two nights after his 43, and the Thunder led Cleveland by 25 before holding on 124-116. Nikola Jokić had 32, 10 and 11 in 30 minutes as Denver scored 41 in the third quarter against Toronto, Keyonte George's 39 was not enough in an overtime loss in New Orleans, and the Pacers, without Tyrese Haliburton, won in Memphis on Aaron Nesmith's three with 14.6 seconds left. Late out West, Victor Wembanyama had career highs of 52 points and 24 rebounds with eight blocks as San Antonio held off Dallas 112-111, Luka Dončić scored 40 as the Lakers won in Sacramento, and Klay Thompson's three with one second left in overtime won it for Miami against the Clippers.
